Alex has asserted that Rhology is afraid to have his name revealed.

I can see that. I, too, "hide" behind internet anonymity so that some of the crazier people don't look me up with a shotgun in hand. Some of these "defenders of Jesus" frighten me, not because I think they have any merit (they don't) but because I fear for my personal safety. Perhaps Rhology does as well.
Now, what doesn't make sense about this is that Rhology claims he isn't afraid. I really don't see any alternate explanation for deleting comments for nothing more than containing his name.

And yet, other explanations exist.

Whether you can think of them doesn't concern me. :-)

Rhology prefers to be addressed as Rhology.
Therefore, he is afraid of being addressed by what people think is his real name.

The sidewalk is wet.
Therefore it rained.

Hopefully you can see the problem.

Peace,
Rhology

Pvblivs prefers to be addressed as "Great and Wise One." However, he does not delete comments that fail to address him in this manner.
     "And yet, other explanations exist."
Gee, you know what might convince me -- an example. Strictly speaking, the example would have to be plausible. But if I (or Alex) were that wrong, I have no doubt that you would put forward an alternate explanation rather than your flawed wet sidewalk analogy.

If you prefer to be called "Great and Wise One", why is your profile "Pvblivs"?
Perhaps you think you are clever. You might be mistaken on that count.

I have no doubt that you would put forward an alternate explanation

Why would I do that?
Also, what's wrong with my analogy? Each of those affirm the consequent. That's kinda the point.

     "Why would I do that?"
Because a demonstration of a correct answer is more effective than a declaration of "no, you're wrong." As it stands, you want my readers (I think there are three or four of them) to think there is an alternate explanation. But you do not provide one.
"If you prefer to be called 'Great and Wise One', why is your profile 'Pvblivs'?"
Because I recognize the reality that, were my profile to read "Great and Wise One," people would probably come up with a rather unpleasant moniker.
     "What's wrong with my analogy?"
Think about it for a couple days. Hopefully you can see the problem.

Ah. Well, you're suffering a bit from the mistaken idea that I have any interest in "effectively" convincing you of what I know to be true.

The rest of your comment requires no reply. Think about it a few days and you'll see why.

That you would even bother to come to my blog to tell me that I am wrong shows that you are interested in convincing me, or my readers, that that is the case. It is, therefore, more likely that you are unable to present a more effective case than that you are uninterested in doing so.
Strictly speaking, none of my comment required a reply. You could use silence to concede that I was correct on every point. I would be perfectly satisfied.
